Creating Tech Pack

The tech pack should include design sketches that provide an overview of the product, materials and trims required for production, a bill of materials to estimate costs, accurate measurements for proper fit, detailed construction instructions, labelling and packaging instructions, and quality control instructions. It’s crucial to have these elements to effectively communicate design needs to suppliers and ensure a successful production process.

Bill of Materials (BOM): The BOM lists all the materials required for the product, including their quantities and costs. It’s an important tool for estimating the cost of production and ensuring that all necessary materials are accounted for. 

Measurements: Accurate measurements are essential for ensuring the final product measures as intended. The tech pack should include detailed measurements for all aspects of the product, including length, width, and height.

Construction Details: The tech pack should include detailed instructions on how the product should be constructed, including stitching details, seam allowances, and any other relevant construction details.

Labelling and Packaging: The tech pack should also include instructions on how the product should be labeled and packaged, including any branding or labeling requirements.

Quality Control: Quality control instructions should be included in the techpack to ensure that the final product meets the desired quality standards. This includes details on how the product should be inspected and any tests that should be conducted to ensure the product is of high quality.
